Pain management

Pain management, under the auspices of the Pain Control Committee (PCC), is a daily concern for the healthcare and medical staff at the RHENA Clinic.

Art. L1110-5 of the Public Health Code: "... everyone has the right to receive treatment to relieve their pain. It must, in all circumstances, be prevented, evaluated, acknowledged and treated... ".

If you feel pain, do not hesitate to talk about it: tell the staff; they are there to listen and help you. Pain consultants are trained on a regular basis at the clinic.

The PCC, made up of physicians, pharmacists, service managers and caregivers, is responsible for helping to define a coherent care policy for pain management, as well as for the promotion and implementation of actions in this area. It establishes and evaluates protocols, provides training for staff and advises physicians on optimal pain treatment plans.
