Consultations during your pregnancy

Medical monitoring of a pregnancy may be handled by an individual gynaecologist, a gynaecologist/obstetrician working at the maternity unit, or an individual midwife.

In case of an emergency, the birth room can be reached 24/7 on +33 3 90 67 43 62, during the daytime until 8 pm, and on +33 3 90 67 40 10 during the night time, until 8 pm.

The maternity centre is accessed through the main door during the day, and through Emergencies, located at the back of the clinic, at night (from 8 pm to 6:45 am).

Consultations with the anaesthetist

A consultation with an anaesthetist will be scheduled during the 9th month, even if you do not plan to have an epidural.

At the start of the 8th month, remember to make an appointment with the anaesthesiologist on +33 3 67 34 35 35.

A questionnaire to be completed for the pre-anaesthetic consultation is included in the pre-registration file.

The anaesthesiologist will examine you and explain, among other things, the various types of anaesthesia available for the delivery.

If you are undergoing medical treatment, you must inform the anaesthetist. You will be given appropriate instructions.
