Co-payment
This represents the portion of healthcare expenses not covered by Social Security, and is therefore to be paid by you.
However, there are cases of exemption when 100% is covered by Social Security:
- After the 31st day of hospitalisation
- Hospitalisation related to a long-term illness
- An accident at work, the professional nature of which has been recognised by the insurer
- Disability pensioner, war pensioner, worker's pension benefit with a disability rate of 60%.
Some complementary insurers also cover these costs. Contact your insurer before your admission.
